Famous Daves's of America is looking for a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Cashier duties and responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts, operating cash registers, monitoring inventory, and providing customer service. This role also includes serving responsibilites such as running food and bussing tables. This position includes tips in addition to an hourly wage. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service or sales role and good knowledge of how money works. You should be available to work on weekends. Ultimately, you will ensure that we receive payments from customers consistent with their payment options (cash, credit card, etc.)

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cashier in a restaurant or other food service setting preferred
• Must be able to work on Sundays
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Must be able to provide correct information about our services (e.g. prices, hours, etc.)
• Basic math skills needed to calculate charges and collect money from customers correctly.
